Notes:

– First show I’ve ever done on Thanksgiving. Photo today is of some early 70s boogie band called–you guessed it–Turkey. The album here was Wild Turkey. I didn’t play it, but I surely did play tons of other late-60s/early 70s rock, including Neil Young’s solo debut (which has arrangements by the fantastic Jack Nitzsche), Cream (that SWLABR song has been in my head for two weeks), a Cream cover (brilliantly done by Rotary Connection), Morning Glory, the Ventures, and even some early Pink Floyd. It was like a Thanksgiving feast, complete with that guilty feeling and physical pain afterwards for having overstuffed yourself. Next week I shall fast. Maybe.
